Frequently Asked Transfer Case Questions & Information

Our Transfer Case Quality

The following parts are always replaced: bearings, seals, fork pads, viscous (when the unit has them) and chains (chains are Morse and only Morse chains). The transfer cases we offer have been thoroughly tested from the smallest piece to the completed unit. Low service expectancy parts are automatically replaced regardless of their condition. All other parts that do not have absolutely new potential service life are replaced with the highest quality parts available. Upgrades are performed to improve on the factory's design when possible.

Helpful hints that tell you if your transfer case is bad:
The best way to check is to have your repair shop drain the fluid. Check for the following:
- Is there any fluid? *
- Does the fluid smell “burnt?” *
- Is the fluid silvery in color?
- Are - Are there metal pieces in the fluid? *

95% of the time these signs will indicate if the transfer case is bad.

If you do not buy from us:
1. Choose a business that really knows transfer cases. Talk is cheap from the shop but expensive for the customer.
2. Make sure they replace all bearings, seals, fork pads and chains. Be sure they use Morse chains.
